Mission Team Food Drive

Bring canned food donations the first Sunday of every month. Our Mission Team Food Drive for the Westside Food Bank begins with a presentation of food donations during both services. Souper Bowl of Caring

Join the movement that is transforming Super Bowl weekend into the nation’s largest youth–led weekend of giving and serving. Souper Bowl of Caring equips and mobilizes congregations, schools and businesses to positively impact their communities by collecting money or food on or near Super Bowl weekend. The collections from First Pres are donated this year to Daniel's Place, a project of Step Up on Second, to house mentally ill young adults. ttp://www.souperbowl.org.

Cookie Drop Off Day

First Pres has committed to deliver 900 cookies (about 24 dozen) to the Westside Winter Homeless Shelter on Valentines Day. We need your help to bake or buy cookies. Drop them off at the church office by Friday, February 12, at 4:30 p.m. The phone number is 310.309.7820.
Share the Love Sunday

Valentines Day Mission Project
for the Benefit of the
Children’s Institute Foster Care Program
Our church families can “Share the Love” with needy children by participating in this important event. Please donate a duffle bag or backpack for a foster kid who otherwise uses a pillowcase to shuttle things from place to place. If you are able to add some goodies to the bag, here are some suggestions: stuffed animal, journal and pen, brush and comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, various toiletries. Hatha Yoga
